Free buses, trains and trams
Don't forget, that Clipsal 500 ticket holders will ride FREE to and from the event, thanks to the Adelaide City Council, Motor Accident Commission, Adelaide Metro and the South Australian Motor Sport Board.
Simply display your valid Clipsal 500 Adelaide ticket to the race on the day of travel and can ride free on any Adelaide Metro service.

RAA Insurance Free Shuttle Bus Service
Thanks to RAA Insurance, there are free and regular shuttle buses to catch to and from the Adelaide Railway Station.
All shuttle bus trips will commence at Adelaide Railway Station, North Terrace (bus stop W1 southern side) to enable easy transfer to and from all metro-ticket services and will travel in an anti-clockwise direction. Along Morphett Street, left into Grote Street, along Wakefield Street, right into Hutt Street, left into Glen Osmond Road, left into Greenhill Road, left into Fullarton Road, left into The Parade West, left into Rundle Road and right into East Terrace, left into North Terrace back to Adelaide Railway Station.
During the Hutt Street Road Closure (Saturday, 13 March 2010) will alter as follows:
Commencing at Adelaide Railway Station, North Terrace (bus stop W1 southern side) to enable easy transfer to and from all metro-ticket services and will travel in an anti-clockwise direction. Along Morphett Street, left into Grote Street, along Wakefield Street, right into Hutt Street, right into Angas Street, left into Regent Street North, right into Carrington Street, Left into Hurtle Square, left into Halifax Street, right into Hutt Street, left into Glen Osmond Road, left into Greenhill Road, left into Fullarton Road, left into The Parade West, left into Rundle Road and right into East Terrace, left into North Terrace back to Adelaide Railway Station
Large fully accessible vehicles will depart Adelaide Railway Station, North Terrace, (maximum wait 25 minutes) commencing at 7:30 am every morning of the event with the last service arriving in Victoria Square at 10:30 pm Thursday, 11:15 pm Friday, 6:30 pm Saturday and 10:30pm Sunday night. Temporary stops will be clearly marked along the whole route and will be positioned within close proximity to event entry points.

STRATCO SAFM SKYSHOW TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Free Public Transport to Stratco SAFM Skyshow After 3pm Saturday
There will be free travel for all members of the public from 3pm, Saturday 13 March on all Adelaide Metro services until the last After Midnight services on Sunday morning 14 March 2010.
Stratco SAFM Skyshow Shuttles
There will also be two special Stratco SAFM Skyshow shuttles operating from Adelaide Railway Station to take Stratco SAFM Skyshow patrons to the event. One will go direct to the track via North Terrace and the other via Victoria Square.
The shuttles will start at 5pm running through to 9pm and again from 9.40pm to 11pm in 5 minute intervals.

There are enough things to worry about when you are enjoying the day - or the whole event - at the Clipsal 500 without thinking about having to drive home.
That's why you should leave the driving to the professionals for the event and enjoy the race without the added concern of getting home at the end of the day after a few drinks.
And with FREE public transport and RAA Insurance Shuttle Buses for all ticket holders, why would you take the chance?
So, if you are thinking of having a few drinks at the event, don't take the car.
Car Parking
Wilson's 'Centrepoint Car Park' offers all day reduced parking rates for Clipsal 500 patrons. This offer extends from Thursday, 11 March 2010 to Sunday, 14 March 2010. Clipsal 500 tickets or credentials will be required to be shown to obtain the reduced parking fees.

Parking will also be available daily from 7am in the Car Park off Fullarton Road adjacent to the circuit. A parking fee of $18 per car per day will apply.

The following is a summary of altered road conditions that apply as a result of the staging of the 2010 Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
Lane restrictions
Dequetteville Terrace lane restrictions currently apply.
Parking
Bartels Road - There is no parking on Bartels Road effective now until 3pm Monday 29 March, 2010.
Wakefield Road- Limited parking is available on Wakefield Road between Dequetteville Terrace and Hutt Street until Friday 5 March, 2010. This restriction will be lifted at 1pm on Wednesday 17 March, 2010.
