Clipsal 500 Street Parade!
On 28 February get ready for Disney-Pixar CARS "Mack The Transporter" and the Clipsal 500 to hit the streets of Adelaide.
A parade featuring stunning vehicles from the event's "Route 66" and Armor All Show'n Shine displays will travel through the city centre surrounding "Mack The Transporter" from the CARS movie.
Chopper and sled motor bikes, muscle cars including Chev Camaro, Pontiac TransAm, Ford Mustang, and hot rods such as Ford T Bucket, together with the "General Lee," a Ford T-Bird and a Corvette, will be joined by amazing show cars including a Torana, a Skyline, Ford XY GT and a Chrysler Charger.
More than 28 vehicles will parade from the Clipsal 500 circuit from 12.30pm via Hutt Street and will travel along Pulteney Street, North Terrace, King William Street, through Victoria Square, Gouger Street, Morphett Street, Grote Street and Wakefield Street.

Drag Car Demonstrations
The most extreme form of bitumen based motor sport is to be featured at the 2012 Clipsal 500 Adelaide with demonstrations by some of the nation's top exponents of drag racing.
National champion Darren Morgan will be in the hot seat of the AEG Powertools Top Fuel dragster and Phil Lamattina will be piloting the FUCHS machine when they take to the Adelaide circuit made famous by Formula 1 and V8 Supercars.
The AEG Powertools and FUCHS Top Fuel dragsters will be seen on circuit on both Friday ( 2 March ) and Saturday (3 March) together with a Top Doorslammer and a Top Alcohol drag vehicle.
The demonstrations will occur at 10.35am on Friday and 5.35 pm on Saturday with the Top Fuel machines running on Pit Straight and the Top Doorslammer and Supercharged Outlaw cars doing runs on Brock Straight (Bartels Road) and Brabham Straight (DeQuetteville Terrace).

Alan Jones' Williams Grand Prix Car on Track
One of the most important cars in the history of Australia's motor sport heritage - the Williams Grand Prix car that took Australian Alan Jones to his 1980 Formula 1 World Championship - will be at this year's Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
The car will be demonstrated on the circuit each day in the presence of Alan Jones MBE himself who is to be a special guest at this year's opening round of the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.
You can see the Williams FW07B Formula 1 Championship winning car on track at the following times:
- Thursday 1 March - 10:55AM
- Friday 2 March - 12:40PM
- Saturday 3 March - 1:45PM
- Sunday 4 March 1:50PM
Showtime FMX Freestyle Motorbikes
Check out the ShowTime FMX Freestyle Moto stunt team as they perform dare-devil stunts in the TrAction Zone. Awesome stunts include the holygrab, ruler, jackhammer and the crowd favourite back flip.
Their fully choreographed performances include Australia's top freestyle Moto X performers jumping dirt bikes 80 feet ramp to ramp and reaching heights of over 45 feet.
Whilst in the air riders perform tricks such as the holygrab, ruler, jackhammer and the crowd favourite back flip.
Armor All Show'n Shine
See the best, the brightest and the brutal. An awesome display of automotive 'art.' Armor All proudly presents some of the finest show and go cars in the country are coming to the Clipsal 500.
Look out for the Elite Armor All Show' n Shine vehicles on display including:
- A SoCal Speed Shop1932 Ford Roadster that embodies the true spirit of the Californian rod scene.
- A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback
- An American Grafiti Style Hot Rod, never seen before at a car show
- A 1967 RS Camaro
- An Areoflow Camaro
- "Burnt 1" a 1932 Ford Tudor
- "Voodoo Bullet" a 1965 Ford Mustang
- A Ford 1932 5 Window
- The "Kandy Star" Camaro
Plus an additional sixty plus stunning road going show cars and chopper bikes will also form part of the Armor All Show'n Shine.
Route 66 Experience
The American muscle and luxury cars from the Route 66 era that drove the famous stretch of road from Chicago to Los Angeles will be on display at the 2012 Clipsal 500.
There will be approximately 100 or so Route 66 vehicles with Chevrolet, Pontiac, Ford and Cadillac just to name a few.
We will have vintage Speedway cars and bikes from the Rowley Park era with a lot of speedway memorabilia. This large display will meander through the perimeter of the circuit.
The Matt Mingay Stunt Team
Catch Matt Mingay and Australia's best stunt riding team in Australia. Stunz as they hit the Clipsal 500 track with thier bikes. These crazy tricks such as the high chair wheelie, high chair 12 scrape wheelie, circle wheelies, ralph louies, frogger circle wheelies just to name a few.
Plus Matt Mingay returns to the track with a ute demonstration on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Beachwear Parades
Beachwear Parade return to the Trackside area! You can check out the latest in beachwear in the TrAction Zone and in the Gold Zone. There will be plenty of so-hot-they're-cool cossies being displayed by suntanned Ausie beach babes.

Air Force Military Working Dogs
Look four for the Air Force Military Working Dogs, who'll be in training at the TrAction Zone. Air Force Military Dogs have helped to protect air bases since their formal introduction in 1958.
